Fay White is urgently looking for a Wireless Network Engineer (ZTE Equipment) to work on a 12-month rolling contract based in Congo DRC (Kinshasa).

Role scope:

• Working with team to propose 2/3/4/5G network solution for operator client. Understand client requirements to be able to cater to their appropriate needs.
• Analyze and sort out network data and geographical information, and use the planning software to complete traffic mode design, networking solution design, cell planning, frequency planning, and wireless parameter configuration.
• Frequencies management: Frequency reuse, Channel assignments, Cell splitting and sectoring, Handoffs & prioritizing handoff, Co channel and adjacent channel interference, Improving coverage.
• System capacity and its improvement: performs original data collection and analysis, provide resolution to customer for network planning in accordance with the system design scheme of telecom network.
• Collects, sorts out, and analyzes network operation data.
• Participates in the proposal and implementation of network optimization solutions, and completes network optimization.

Skill requirements:

• Strong program presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using network planning tools.
• 5+ years of working experience in the wireless network planning field.
• Language: Fluent in English speaking and writing. Second language French is preferred.
