Job Description
The client is looking for a TIBCO Middleware Integration Specialist to work remote.
Main Job Purpose:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement integration solutions using TIBCO technologies (e.g., Business Works, EMS, API Management).
- Develop and maintain enterprise integration workflows and services.
- Analyse business and technical requirements to design optimal integration architectures.
- Configure and deploy TIBCO applications across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and middleware issues.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration solutions.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migration activities.
- Maintain documentation for integration architecture, processes, and configurations.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
Telecom System Integration:
- Integrate core telecom systems including:
- CRM
- Billing systems
- Order Management systems
- Provisioning platforms
- Network elements
- Digital channels (Web, Mobile Apps)
Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience with TIBCO products (e.g., BusinessWorks 5.x/6.x, EMS).
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, JSON.
- Understanding of messaging systems and middleware architecture.
- Experience with integration patterns (EIP – Enterprise Integration Patterns).
- SQL knowledge and database integration experience.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with API gateways.
- Cloud integration experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in financial services / telecom / enterprise environments (if applicable).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Successful delivery of integration projects on time.
- System availability and performance.
- Reduced integration defects and incidents.
- Compliance with architecture and security standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 3- 8 years of experience in integration or middleware development.
- Certificates: Relevant TIBCO certifications (preferred).
- Language: Very Good: English (Written & Spoken).
