Technical Authority (VAS & OSS)

Job Summary:

The Technical Authority (VAS & OSS) is responsible for providing technical leadership and second-line support across Value Added Services (VAS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) domains. The role ensures stable service operations, effective troubleshooting, and successful delivery of enhancements, integrations, and operational support activities across telecom platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform administration and operational support for platforms including ENM, ENIQ, and eVNFM.
• Handle end-user troubleshooting cases, customer requests, escalations, and service-related issues.
• Support new project implementations, system acceptances, and deployment activities.
• Manage MDT (Mean Down Time) and TCN (Technical Change Notification) follow-ups and validations.
• Address customer support requests and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Support evaluation and preparation of new feature requests, including technical studies and feasibility analysis.
• Coordinate and follow up on hardware-related issues and vendor support cases.
• Generate governance reports and respond to ad hoc business and operational reporting requests.
• Provide technical support for VAS platforms including messaging, charging, provisioning, service control, and digital services.
• Support OSS domains including fault management, performance management, configuration management, inventory, service assurance, and orchestration.
• Participate in system integration activities, including APIs, mediation systems, and data flow management between network, IT, and service layers.
• Conduct design reviews, impact analysis, and root cause analysis for service-impacting incidents.
• Collaborate closely with network, IT, SNOC, delivery teams, and external vendors to ensure service continuity and issue resolution.
• Support automation, monitoring, and lifecycle management initiatives in large-scale telecom environments.
• Translate business requirements into effective and scalable technical solutions.
