Job Description

Job Summary:

The Technical Authority (RAN) is responsible for providing second-line technical support and governance for the Radio Access Network (RAN) domain. The role ensures stable, efficient, and compliant network operations through technical expertise, coordination, and proactive management of network activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-line technical authority support for the RAN domain, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices.
  • Support incident and problem management activities, including technical analysis, troubleshooting, and service restoration.
  • Manage and support Change on Work (COW) activities, ensuring proper planning, execution, and validation.
  • Oversee configuration management to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the network.
  • Handle customer service requests (CSRs) and ensure timely resolution in coordination with relevant teams.
  • Conduct audits (daily, periodic, and special events) to ensure network performance and compliance with operational standards.
  • Support software management activities, including upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Participate in change management processes, including risk assessment, impact analysis, and implementation guidance.
  • Perform operational validation to ensure successful implementation of changes and activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve network performance, reliability, and compliance.
