Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technical Authority (IP Core) is responsible for providing second-line technical support and governance for the transmission and IP core domain. The role ensures end-to-end network stability, efficient fault resolution, and compliance with operational standards through advanced troubleshooting, coordination, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide second-line technical authority support for the IP Core and Transmission domain, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices.
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across routers, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, transmission nodes, and MPLS networks in coordination with internal and third-party teams.
Manage node acceptance activities, ensuring proper integration and validation of new network elements.
Oversee configuration management to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the network.
Handle incident and problem management, including outage and service degradation analysis, troubleshooting, and restoration.
Manage customer service requests (CSRs) and ensure timely resolution through effective coordination.
Support audit activities, reporting, and compliance checks to ensure network integrity and performance standards.
Provide software, maintenance, and lifecycle support for transmission and IP core network elements.
Perform MDT (Mean Down Time) and TCN (Technical Change Notification) verification and validation activities.
Operate in a 24/5 shift model with weekend on-call support to ensure continuous network availability.
Guide field operations (FO) and related teams during troubleshooting and restoration activities.
Coordinate with design teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure timely fault resolution and service restoration.
Support reporting activities and provide technical insights to improve network performance and reliability.
