Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technical Authority (IMS) is responsible for providing end-to-end technical leadership for the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) domain across design, delivery, and operations. The role ensures that all IMS solutions align with industry standards, best practices, and business requirements while maintaining high levels of performance, availability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical authority and leadership for the IMS domain across design, implementation, and operational phases.
- Own solution governance, ensuring IMS architectures, configurations, and changes comply with standards and best practices.
- Review, approve, and guide IMS designs, upgrades, and integrations including Core IMS, SBC, TAS, HSS/UDM, and PCRF/PCF.
- Support network delivery and change management processes by assessing technical risks and service impact.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex IMS issues, including performance degradation and service disruptions.
- Ensure IMS solutions meet requirements for availability, scalability, security, and agreed SLAs.
- Conduct design reviews, change impact assessments, and root cause analysis for network incidents and failures.
- Collaborate with vendors, network delivery teams, operations, and SNOC teams to ensure smooth implementation and support.
- Contribute to capacity planning, redundancy strategies, and high availability design for IMS networks.
- Translate business and service requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.
