Technical Authority (CS Core)

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily software operations and maintenance of core network nodes including MSC, MGW, HLR, IPSTP, HSS, UDC, DSC, EIR, PG, UPG, Backup Servers, CCDM, CCRC, CCSM, SC, EDA2, and NeLS.
• Perform daily health checks, quarterly audits, and audits during special events to ensure system integrity.
• Ensure smooth network functioning by troubleshooting issues and supporting core network optimization to meet service quality standards.
• Manage, implement, and verify configurations across all core nodes to maintain consistency and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain on-demand performance of core network components.
• Execute regular software updates, patch management, and system upgrades.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and service disruption.
• Collaborate with network engineering, solution, and CS teams to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for reporting and compliance purposes.
• Participate in network design discussions and provide operational insights.
• Ensure all 5GC nodes comply with security protocols and regulatory requirements as per customer guidelines (MBSS).
• Conduct configuration audits to ensure adherence to internal security policies and external regulatory standards.
• Perform end-to-end tracing across all relevant protocols and interfaces, and analyze network behavior.
