Site Design Engineer

The client is looking for a Site Design Engineer to work a 3 month extendable contract based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with survey team for conducting survey and survey report.
• Coordinate with planning team to provide LLD for design output.
• Follow target to output DDD and get approval from client.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• More than 3-year experience of telecom site design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / telecom design platforms, with ability to understand LLD & HLD to prepare design.
• Ability to understand specialised engineering materials used in telecom design, site layouts, antenna layouts, and cabling routes in case of new built site.
• Understanding of RAN technologies Like RRU/RSU, antenna types, tilt, RETs, and transmission (MW/Fibre) basics.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, tower maps, and as-built reports.
