Senior IT Business Analysis / Functional Solution Expert

The client is looking for an Arabic & English speaking Senior IT Business Analysis / Functional Solution Expert (Telecom) to work remotely, based in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Domain Expertise.
• Lead analysis for complex RFCs and high-impact telecom projects across multiple domains.
• Apply deep telecom knowledge, including BSS (CRM, Product & Offer Management, Billing, Charging) and digital/Value-Added Services (VAS).
• Maintain awareness of IT systems, ownership, and integration points.
• Functional Solution Design.
• Translate business objectives into end-to-end functional designs covering processes, rules, data, and system interactions.
• Define business process changes, impacts on upstream/downstream systems, and integration requirements.
• Develop multiple solution options (configuration, vendor customization, in-house, hybrid) and recommend optimal solutions.
• Ensure requirements and designs are complete, consistent, and testable.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to design, testing, and UAT.
• Documentation & Vendor Collaboration.
• Create functional artifacts: process flows, functional integration diagrams, logical data flows.
• Assess vendor proposals for functional fit and alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in solution walkthroughs, design reviews, and act as a functional reference for Delivery, Development, and QA teams.
• Risk Management & Mentorship.
• Identify functional risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
• Mentor Business Analysts in analysis techniques, solution thinking, and domain knowledge.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and evolving standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field with 6–8 years of experience.
• Certifications: CBAP or PMI-PBA preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in BPMN, UML, and modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of telecom frameworks (eTOM) and enterprise architecture (TOGAF).
• Strong telecom domain expertise and proven capability in requirements engineering and functional solution design.
• Experience evaluating solution options and vendor proposals.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
