Senior Core Network PS Technical Engineer

The client is looking for a Senior Core Network PS (Packet-Switched) Technical Engineer (Network O&M Project) to work a 3 month rolling contract based in Congo B (Brazzaville).

Job Description:

• Operate and maintain PS core network (e.g., SGSN, GGSN, SGW, PGW/UPF) with high availability (24/7)
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, latency, success rate) and ensure SLA compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve major faults (session drops, signalling failures, congestion)
• Perform configuration, software upgrades, and change management
• Optimize network performance and capacity (traffic steering, load balancing)
• Manage protocols and interfaces (GTP-C/U, Diameter, S1-U, Gn/Gp, N4)
• Support network evolution (4G to 5G, EPC to 5GC)
• Coordinate with vendors (ZTE) and cross-domain teams
• Produce reports, documentation, and incident postmortems
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
