Job Description

The client is looking for a SAQ Manager to work a 3 month rolling contract based in South Africa (Johannesburg).

Responsibility:

  • Managing supervisors and SBCs to obtain leases and permits within SAQ  timeframes or better.
  • Co location application preparation and follow up, Gap Analysis, Target allocation and Delivery Responsibility.
  • Must have strong third-party (Colocation) experience within the telecommunications industry.

 

Requirements:

  • Telecom Site Acquisition experience within the mobile telecommunications industry.
  • Extensive experience managing third-party (Colocation) sites.
  • Practical knowledge of Colocation processes, site sharing and operator relationships.
  • Experience negotiating with landlords, infrastructure providers and other stakeholders for existing telecom sites.
  • Day-to-day operational experience as a Telecom Site Acquisition Manager.
  • In  depth knowledge of Lease drafting, amendments and signing, permitting  requirements, and Network requirements.
  • Able to interpret lease changes.
  • Able to interpret Telecoms by-laws and any changes as it relates to the  local authority permitting for Telecommunications.
  • Previous established experience in the Telecoms SAQ Environment.
  • Good relationships with TowerCos and MNOs and ability to engage with stakeholders on a daily basis for escalations and progress achievement.
