The client is looking to hire a Rollout Project Manager to work a 6 month extendable contract to support a project based in The Caribbean (Remote Considered).

The Project Manager will be responsible for governing and executing mobile network projects with a focus on network expansions, new site rollout, end-to-end technology (GSM/3G) shutdown, KPI recovery, and 5G implementation. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, commercial awareness, and strong stakeholder management to ensure the operator maintains network superiority and prepares for the next generation of connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern end-to-end mobile network projects across multiple markets, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Manage technology shutdown programs (GSM/3G) including planning, regulatory engagement, migration strategies, and customer transition.
  • Drive 5G implementation and rollout programs, aligning with Group strategy and local market requirements.
  • Oversee capacity expansions and new site rollout programs to enhance coverage, capacity, and customer experience.
  • Lead network deep-dive initiatives and KPI recovery programs to ensure performance excellence and maintain competitive edge.
  • Work closely with Commercial teams to align network projects with product roadmaps, pricing, and customer propositions.
  • Ensure strong governance, reporting, and risk management practices are in place across all projects.
  • Engage with vendors, regulators, and internal stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure project success.
  • Support the development of best practices, playbooks, and knowledge sharing for mobile technology programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience managing large-scale mobile technology projects in a telecom operator or vendor environment.
  • Proven expertise in technology shutdown programs (GSM/3G) and 5G implementation.
  • Strong understanding of mobile network planning, rollout, optimization, and KPI management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-market programs with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in capacity expansions, site rollout governance, and KPI recovery programs.
  • Experience in commercial alignment, including financial planning, ROI assessment, and customer impact management.
  • Strong vendor management, contract governance, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; additional languages (Spanish/French) are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to influence at Executive level.
