RAN Technology Performance Expert

James Bundock is looking for a RAN Technology Performance expert to work a 12 month rolling contract in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

• Has advanced E2E experience in addition to his deep knowledge of 3GPP and telecom standardization.
• Layer 3 trace analysis using Geolocation or Drive Test Logs.
• Cell and User Trace Analysis Using OSS (ENM).
• CEM Trace Analysis (ERA and Cognitive Tool).

Requirements: 

• Extensive technical knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G mobile network design & performance.
• Good knowledge and experience in RAN KPIs formulas and 3GPP standards.
• Expert with features and parameter configurations.
• Good reporting and presentation skills.
• A proven background in leading performance investigations in a multi-vendor environment.
• An ability with Troubleshooting of RAN issues.
• Must be able to drive performance improvement initiatives.
• Traffic & performance tools Script commands, etc; resolve straight-forward upcoming cases and escalate the complex cases to BO/FO/Tx/Core/Network Performance Management.
• Tool Expertise a. Expert level of E/// tools (Wibi/BO/ENM/ERA/COGNITIVE ANALYSIS).
• Expert level of STC tools (UPM and ProPtima).
• Good knowledge of Power BI and Tableau.
• Good knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Good knowledge of using Moshell and CLI using ENM.
