Job Description
The client is seeking a RAN Senior Integration Engineer to work in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RAN Senior Integration Engineer to lead and manage integration activities across large-scale mobile network rollout projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and high-quality RAN integration, software upgrades and feature activations using tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and audit live network prior to software upgrades (SW Preparation & NIR).
- Execute network-wide SW upgrades using tools such as ASU and manage FNIs.
- Develop and maintain MOPs (Method of Procedure) for activating new RAN features and configurations.
- Perform FNIs and prepare detailed KPI-based reports for new features pre- and post-activation.
- Lead the automation of feature rollout across the network, optimizing scripting methods for efficiency.
- Create detailed Integration LLDs based on Solution HLDs and define MOPs for each activity.
- Support the Customer Project Manager (CPM) with rollout planning and team coordination.
- Own and update project trackers to monitor progress and delivery milestones.
- Mentor and guide new engineers by assigning tasks aligned with their development.
- Monitor quality of delivery and take proactive actions in case of deviations.
- Lead FNI executions for new configurations and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
- Supervise integration team activities and ensure execution as per project plan.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting and coordinate with support teams to resolve issues.
- Drive the acceptance process and PAT, ensuring First-Time-Right (FTR) delivery.
- Champion automation initiatives and promote best practices to improve integration efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or Computer Science.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with RAN integration.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role managing integration delivery teams.
- Proven track record in more than 5 large-scale projects, each involving the delivery of over 1500 nodes.
- Deep expertise in RAN technologies, particularly 4G and 5G; basic knowledge in 2G and 3G required.
- Strong experience with integration automation tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills.
- Programming skills are considered an advantage.
