RAN Optimisation Engineer

About the Role:

The client is seeking a skilled RAN Optimization Engineer to join their team in KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for 5G/4G network tuning and optimization to meet customer requirements and SLA KPIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal network performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 2G/3G/LTE/5G network tuning and optimization to enhance KPIs and maintain competitive quality of service.
• Monitor, analyze, and audit network parameters, including drive test data.
• Interface with Ericsson teams across Operations, Design, Core, and Projects.
• Resolve VIP complaints related to 2G/3G/4G/5G networks.
• Stay updated on new software RAN features, functionalities, and traffic strategies.
• Apply AI/ML techniques and coding skills for network optimization and automation.
• Implement solutions to improve customer experience management.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing activities and document customer requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or relevant Engineering field.
• 3–5 years of experience in RAN optimization or related telecom roles.
• Strong knowledge of network optimization techniques across 2G/3G/4G/5G.
• Hands-on experience with automation, AI, and coding for telecom applications.
• Familiarity with KSA telecom environment preferred; valid Iqama is an advantage.
