Job Description
The client is looking for a RAN Implementation Coordinator to work a 6 month rolling contract based in South Africa (Bloemfontein or Eastern Cape Based).
The implementation coordinator role will be responsible for the project management of the End to End delivery of an assigned number of sites in a major rollout delivery program.
Responsibilities:
- Manage site roll-out across project with a focus on certain area’s/clusters.
- Manage sub-contractors working in Network Roll-Out ensuring sub-contractor is on the track with agreed rollout plan. This includes managing Site Survey and Rollout, new equipment logistics, site access.
- Ensure that the implementation work is in accordance with Ericsson procedures, local laws, regulation and with respect to customer’s directives.
- Development of Implementation project budget.
- Monitoring and Control of implementation spend in alignment with budget.
Main Activities:
The Implementation coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Organising and coordinating the installation, verification and acceptance, configuration and integration with the Customer Project Manager, Customer and Authorised Service Provider, including resource requirements and planning.
- Orders the required scope of work via the ASP tooling
- Ensure that the ASPs works are in accordance with the required timeline and work quality.
- Handle implementation questions and problems from own organisation, Suppliers and Customer.
Experience:
- Ericsson Radio Knowledge.
- RBS 6000 Installation.
- RBS 6000 (2G/3G/LTE) script loading.
- RBS 6000 (2G/3G/LTE) alarm clearance.
- RBS 6000 (2G/3G/LTE) Fault finding.
- Transmission knowledge (preferable).
- RF installation best practices and technics.
- RF Fault Finding experience.
- Previous experience in implementation rollout experience in Transmission, Power and New Site Build is beneficial.
- Proven experience in effectively managing subcontractors (ASP/SP) across large projects.
- Have excellent planning and scheduling skills.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in RF maintenance, fault finding, integration, installation and testing experience.
Please note: The client is only looking for consultants already based in South Africa.
