Job Description
The Radio Performance Monitoring Engineer will be responsible for KPI monitoring and troubleshooting wireless communication networks. The RF Engineer is typically assigned to work with service quality surveillance and assurance (Level 1 Operations) activities.
What you will do
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance metrics and take proactive measures to address any degradation in performance.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot RF-related issues using relevant tools and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of technical instructions, configurations, and optimization activities.
You will bring
- Strong knowledge of Radio KPI Optimization (2G/3G/4G/5G) and troubleshooting of multi-vendor telecommunication RAN equipment.
- Ability to investigate faults and identify causes related to system or network problems.
- Ability to prioritize faults to meet SLA/WLA requirements.
- Solid RF knowledge for 2G/3G/LTE/NR networks.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in customer/MSIP handling.
- Willingness to work in 24/7 operations, including shift work.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in RF engineering, focusing on wireless communication systems.
- Proficiency in RF planning, optimization, and performance monitoring tools.
