Job Description

The client is looking for a QHS Auditor to work in Saudi Arabia.

The QHS Auditor is the key point of contact for Project Quality, Health & Safety Management and Project Quality Assurance within customer projects. They also act as a regional and/or global point of contact for QHS issues, including escalation processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project/customer-specific quality and health & safety plans, ensuring alignment with customer and supplier contractual requirements.
  • Support project HRPIA and Supplier SMA.
  • Conduct QHS Induction and Life Saving Rule training for project teams and suppliers.
  • Facilitate other H&S training such as Work At Height and Rescue, Rigging and Lifting, Defensive Driving, Electrical, First Aid, EMF/RF, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with Road Safety, Working at Height, Electrical, Rigging and Lifting, and FASTEN standards.
  • Ensure site quality processes are being followed and implemented within services projects.
  • Facilitate Health & Safety Risk Assessments for the projects and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct site QHS inspections to ensure field team compliance with Health & Safety requirements and Quality standards (expected 75% of time in the field performing inspections).
  • Ensure inspection results and compliance checks are properly documented and recorded.
  • Review and provide feedback to suppliers on their QHS inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Conduct weekly governance meetings with suppliers.
  • Prepare and circulate monthly project QHS reports, conduct review meetings with project leadership, and follow up on corrective/preventive actions internally and with suppliers.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and represent QHS.
  • Keep QHS records up to date in SharePoint.
  • Support ISO certification programs and internal audits.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in the telecom field.
  • Effective and open communication skills in English and local language.
  • Persuasive and able to influence others, especially suppliers.
  • Positive attitude and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prepare and deliver training sessions.
