Product Manager

The client is looking for a Product Manager to work in The United Arab Emirates.

About the Role:

As a Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and operationalizing the organization’s AI strategy. You’ll lead the front-end of the AI innovation funnel—identifying business needs, scouting promising AI vendors, evaluating external solutions, and overseeing Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to determine their feasibility, performance, and fit. This is not a conventional product development role. Instead, you will act as a strategic evaluator, integrator, and internal consultant—ensuring the organization selects the right AI partners and successfully pilots impactful solutions across domains such as healthcare, insurance, enterprise operations, and consumer services.

Key Responsibilities:

Needs Identification & Solution Scouting:

• • Collaborate with business and domain stakeholders to identify high-impact problems that AI could help solve.
  • Continuously monitor the AI vendor landscape to identify innovative technologies aligned with strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain a repository of relevant AI vendors, use cases, and technical offerings.

Solution Evaluation & Due Diligence:

• • Define evaluation criteria to assess AI solutions for technical feasibility, integration potential, data requirements, business impact, scalability, and vendor maturity.
  • Conduct initial vendor assessments, including documentation review, solution walkthroughs, and technical engagement.
  • Evaluate internal readiness (data, infrastructure, workflows) for adopting AI solutions.

Proof of Concept (POC) Design & Management:

• • Develop detailed POC plans, including success metrics, data handling protocols (in coordination with legal/compliance), and evaluation methodologies.
  • Coordinate internal teams (data science, technical, operational) and external vendors throughout the POC lifecycle.
  • Analyze outcomes and assess performance, compatibility, and potential business impact.

Recommendation & Transition:

• • Synthesize POC findings into data-driven recommendations for executive decision-makers.
  • Present technical and business evaluations clearly, including ROI analysis, risk assessments, and integration readiness.
  • Facilitate transition of validated solutions to implementation teams, ensuring proper knowledge transfer and stakeholder alignment.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

• • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors during evaluation and pilot phases.
  • Communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams, external partners, and leadership stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical consulting, solution architecture, or a related role involving the evaluation or adoption of technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles, including their real-world applications.
• Proven ability to manage proof-of-concept or pilot projects and synthesize findings into actionable decisions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with vendor engagement and technology procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience working with or evaluating AI/ML solutions within healthcare, insurance, or enterprise IT.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and operational workflows.
• Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team management.
• Ability to translate complex clinical or business needs into technical evaluation requirements.
