Job Description
The client is looking for a PMO Manager to work a 4 month rolling contract based in South Africa (Cape Town).
Summary:
- The client is currently seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join a leading telecommunications company based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Job Description:
- Assists executive project manager to carry out the project performance and process specification management and operation support, so as to achieve the project objectives.
- Manages the organizational structure and responsibilities of the project, and the project process and regulations.
- Assists the project HR manager in managing project-dedicated cadres, including selection, competition, appointment, review, and displacement.
- Manages project members, including local personnel, callers, leased personnel, and subsidiary personnel.
- The management items include attendance, itinerary dynamics, cohesion building, and project member appraisal and incentives.
- Manages project operation performance and key tasks.
- Takes charge of project risk control compliance, information security, competition, KCRM and brand promotion.
- Establishes and manages the working and living environment, including office places, dormitories, vehicles, IT systems, assets, and visas.
- The PMO manager can set up full-time or part-time positions or no positions according to the actual project situation.
- The persons in charge of the PMO team shall directly report to the executive project manager.
- Overall management and control of the logistics, outsourcing, purchase, HR, finance, IT, administration, documentation, and training of the project.
- Establishes and implements project management regulations (including daily service code of conduct, communication mechanism, appraisal mechanism, reward and punishment mechanism).
- Assists the executive project manager in completing the tasks and plans of each team, monitor the completion of each team, report the execution deviation, and execute rewards and punishments.
- Assists in project operation management, assists in obtaining budgets and controlling costs, and ensures that operation indicators, such as delivery, revenues, receivables, and costs, are met within the budgets.
- Promotes delayed tasks and coordinates resources to ensure fast task closure.
- Collects and sorts out the information and data of all stakeholders, and prepares and releases project status reports.
- Takes charge of team cohesion building and brand publicity.
Requirements:
- Experience within the telecoms industry is mandatory for this position.
