Marketing Principal Consultant


Job Description

Ying Cui is looking for a Marketing Principal Consultant to work in the Middle East or North Africa.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out different forms of high-level marketing customer engagement activities, including meetings, seminars, and summits with telecom operators’ CMOs and CEOs, to collect customer voices and focus on communicating solutions to high-level decision-makers.
  • Build trust and consensus with internal and external stakeholders, deepen cooperation, share information and accept solutions recommended by the company.
  • Prepare participation materials, including analysis, case sharing, and suggestions, to influence customers’ recognition of the company’s consulting solutions
  • Explore regional and global telecommunications trends and gain an in-depth understanding of telecommunications market opportunities and market development challenges
  • Collect and analyze internal and external data from multiple sources to identify high-level customer business and marketing pain points from multiple dimensions such as strategy, marketing mix, financial data, customer experience, service, sales channels and experience.
  • Develop business and/or technical consulting solutions and suggestions based on customer capabilities and budget to meet customer needs and solve customer problems

You should have:

  • More than 15 years of working experience in marketing/commercial positions in the telecommunications industry. Priority will be given to serving as CMO or marketing director for at least 3 years in one of the leading operators in the Middle East or North Africa.
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Development and/or Telecom Engineering or any related studies.
  • Fluent in English or French (written and spoken)
  • Exceptional presentation skills that enable high-level engagement with clients and influence their thinking and decision-making in both business areas.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to extract valuable insights and organize them into a logical framework.
  • Ability to conduct broad searches to collect, filter, verify, and organize information from multiple sources.
  • Willingness to travel at least 35% of the time within the MENA region and have the flexibility to accept different cultures and work requirements.
