IT Project Manager

The client is looking for an Arabic & English speaking IT Project Manager (Telecom) based in Africa, to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of telecom IT projects from requirements through deployment and stabilization.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, and change requests across complex, multi-system environments.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies, adapting delivery based on project complexity.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
• Track project outcomes, oversee SIT/UAT, cutover, and production rollout activities.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, integration, and operational risks.
• Maintain telecom domain awareness, including BSS systems, customer lifecycle, and service enablement platforms.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as IT Project Manager in telecommunications or complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of telecom IT landscape, BSS systems, and multi-system integrations.
• Experienced in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional team leadership.
• Strong risk, quality, and compliance management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
