IP/Transmission BO Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IP/Transmission BO Engineer with strong expertise in IP networking, transmission technologies, and telecom operations support. The ideal candidate should possess a solid technical background in IP/MPLS networks along with hands-on experience in 2nd line support/TAC environments. The role involves end-to-end troubleshooting, network configuration management, transmission support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure network stability and performance.

Key Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in IP Networking
Minimum 5 years of experience in 2nd Line Support / TAC environment
Strong experience with:
SSR/SE or Cisco platforms
Routing & Switching
MPLS
OSPF
BGP
QoS
VRRP
BFD
Strong understanding of IP static and dynamic routing protocols
Experience working with HP switches/routers such as:
5930-32QSFP+ Switch
HP 6125XLG Blade Switch
Brocade 16Gb/16c SAN
Willingness to work in 24/5 shift operations
Availability for on-call weekend support when required
Preferred Qualifications
IP Network Certifications (Cisco or equivalent preferred)
Experience in Core, Access, and Charging System IP connectivity troubleshooting
Cloud and virtualization knowledge
Telecom domain experience
Scripting knowledge and automation skills
Transmission Experience (Preferred)
