IP Core Engineer

The client is looking for an IP Core Engineer to work a 12 month extendable contract based in Liberia.

Key Responsibilities:

• ZTE IP Engineering project implementation and technical support of bearer products, including equipment commissioning and debugging, upgrade and cutover, fault solving, and network maintenance.
• ZTE IP Formulates engineering project plans for bearer products, tracks the progress, and manages and controls quality.
• Perform routine O&M and data configuration for data communication products of switches and routers.
• Perform network change operations on site.
• Provides technical training and guidance for on-site maintenance engineers.
• Conducts technical exchanges with customer engineers.

Requirements:

• Communication, computer science, electronics, and other related majors, full-time bachelor’s degree or above.
• Have a good sense of service, adapt to medium and long-term overseas business trips, and be fluent in English communication.
• Have working experience in IP equipment such as switches and routers.
• PMP, CCNP, and CCIE certificates are preferred.
• The routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, and BGP), BFD, NAT, SNMP, stacking, mirroring, flow mirroring, and Openflow protocols/flow tables of basic data products are preferred.
