The client is looking for an Implementation Manager – Civil Works to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job description: 

The Civil Works Implementation Manager plays a leading role in the construction of sites in compliance with approved project technical specifications and site-specific designs. The role is responsible for managing all implementation-related activities and personnel, including internal teams and subcontractors, ensuring that civil works are completed without construction errors or structural defects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational, financial, and technical aspects of projects in line with approved timelines and work plans.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., SAQ, Design, PAT, Power, O&M) to ensure smooth project execution and handover.
  • Issue work orders to contractors and maintain accurate records.
  • Track project activities, monitor progress, and manage changes, risks, conflicts, and critical issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve defined milestones within the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Monitor contractor and team performance and provide regular feedback to the Function Manager.
  • Prepare and update daily progress reports and maintain accurate project data in relevant systems for internal and external stakeholders, including customer teams.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to confirm material requirements throughout the project lifecycle and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Verify and cross-check BOQs and FIS documents.
  • Identify and define the resources required for effective project implementation.
  • Attend and contribute to progress meetings with customers, project managers, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project roles, requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria as agreed with the customer.
  • Proactively inform the Customer Project Manager of any deviations or risks that may impact the delivery plan.
  • Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies across all sites and report incidents in the designated systems.
  • Monitor project delivery progress and update relevant tools to reflect status and plan changes.
  • Ensure scope distribution aligns with approved procurement and project governance requirements.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Implementation Manager within Saudi Arabia, preferably in mobile telecommunications network rollout projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
