Job Description
The client is looking for a Field Services Team Leader to work in Saudi Arabia.
Purpose of the Role:
This role is responsible for coordinating, managing and executing field service activities to support operations and engineering functions when on‑site interventions are necessary. The aim is to ensure that customer services remain continuously available and meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Field Maintenance Team Leader oversees the operation, maintenance, and stability of regional equipment such as RBS, Node‑B, and transmission infrastructure in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for all infrastructure within the allocated region
- Accept and commission new sites in the region
- Oversee identification and rectification of hardware faults in the region
- Manage storage, allocation, and logistics of spare parts required for the region
- Supervise all site works performed in the region
- Maintain 24×7 field maintenance availability
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities
- Serve as single point of contact (SPOC) for site hardware performance issues
- Conduct quality checks and regular maintenance, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety laws
- Support cross‑functional teams (Front Office, Back Office, Vendors)
- Generate reports against contracted KPIs (e.g. Mean Time To Repair)
- Escalate issues timely as per contract guidelines and internal procedures
- Handle trouble reports, change requests, and work orders
- Produce analysis and reporting for network incidents and outages
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of service networks (2G / 4G / 5G)
- Familiarity with multi‑vendor telecommunication equipment operations
- Ability to support field maintenance in a continuous 7×24 model
- Experience in supervising subcontractors
- Strong understanding of hardware performance and failure resolution
- Skills in safety practices, hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident investigation / root cause analysis
- Capability to manage emergent network events

Candidate Prerequisites:
- Education & Industry Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in similar roles, ideally in telecom field service, maintenance or operations
