Ericsson Radio Network Optimization Expert

The client is looking for an Ericsson Radio Network Optimization Expert to work a 12 month rolling contract based in Côte d’Ivoire (Abidjan).

Responsibilities:

• Perform radio network optimization for Ericsson 2G/3G/4G networks.
• Analyse network KPIs and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct parameter tuning and optimization to improve network quality.
• Analyse drive test and OSS performance data.
• Optimize coverage, capacity, accessibility, retainability, mobility, and throughput.
• Provide optimization recommendations and implementation plans.
• Support customer performance reviews and technical discussions.
• Prepare optimization reports and continuous improvement proposals.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 5 years of Ericsson RAN optimization experience.
• Extensive experience in Ericsson 2G/3G/4G network optimization.
• Strong understanding of radio principles, mobility management, interference analysis, and parameter optimization.
• Proficient in KPI analysis and performance troubleshooting.
• Familiar with drive test analysis tools and Ericsson OSS/ENM platforms.
• Capable of independently conducting optimization analysis and parameter adjustment.
• Experience in network modernization or swap projects is highly preferred.
• Overseas project experience in Africa or emerging markets is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills; French language skills are preferred.
• Willing to be deployed in Côte d’Ivoire for long-term project delivery.
