ENM/Engineer
Job Description
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Network Management (ENM) and Network Intelligence (ENIQ) platforms (version 23 or later) deployed on rack-mounted or blade server infrastructure.
Experience with network monitoring and service assurance platforms is an added advantage.
Experience with optical network management platforms and administrative tasks is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools, including SAP BusinessObjects 4.x, Tableau administration, and reporting workflows.
Experience troubleshooting Northbound Interface (NBI) integrations between OSS/NMS platforms and external systems.
Strong understanding of Network Management, Security Management, Fault Management, Performance Management, and Backup Management within OSS/NMS environments.
Hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7.9 or later) and Windows Server 2016 or later.
Good knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as Sybase IQ, Vertica, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Python automation.
Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity and Access Management (IDAM), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC/TBAC).
Knowledge of LDAP and DNS (BIND) administration.
Familiarity with rack-mounted and blade server hardware platforms.
Experience with VMware virtualization and vSphere administration.
Basic troubleshooting skills for enterprise networking equipment, switches, and packet brokers.
Basic understanding of enterprise storage systems and storage administration.
Understanding of telecom call flow signaling protocols such as Diameter, SIP, RTP, and MAP for VoLTE and Core Network environments is an advantage.
Experience in installing system patches, upgrades, and software packages for OSS/NMS platforms is an advantage.
Knowledge of containers, Docker, and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure OSS/NMS management platforms effectively support operational processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues by collaborating with internal teams and escalating to vendor support when required.
Perform comprehensive system acceptance testing for major upgrades, enhancements, and new system integrations.
Coordinate with customers, support teams, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across multiple domains.
Proactively monitor system performance, capacity, and health while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Monitor system health in real time, perform trend analysis, and generate operational reports.
Conduct periodic system security audits and ensure compliance with security standards.
Ensure backup processes are operational and recovery readiness is maintained.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge-sharing materials.
