Job Summary

The District Manager is responsible for overseeing operations and maintenance activities across assigned districts, ensuring contractual obligations, service levels, and operational objectives are achieved. The role involves managing resources, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in network operations and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage available resources to ensure the effective delivery of contractual obligations and achievement of operational objectives.
  • Establish guidelines, procedures, and governance frameworks to support smooth and efficient operations.
  • Standardize work practices by providing teams and subcontractors with the necessary templates, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance activities and ensure timely completion in accordance with operational requirements and performance targets.
  • Oversee the resolution of incidents and service tickets to ensure compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs.
  • Conduct periodic analysis of incident trends, root causes, and repair quality to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive the implementation of permanent solutions for repetitive failures and recurring operational challenges.
  • Coordinate and manage the handover of new sites, modernization projects, and infrastructure upgrades from implementation teams to operations.
  • Develop and monitor maintenance plans for critical infrastructure and equipment, ensuring completion through final acceptance.
  • Consolidate district-level feedback and prepare performance, status, and operational reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance infrastructure databases to ensure accurate asset records and support operational optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor and coordinate the handling of theft, vandalism, and security-related incidents, ensuring proper reporting and resolution.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with subcontractors and service providers to assess performance, address gaps, and ensure follow-up on agreed action items.
  • Manage third-party vendors and contractors engaged for specific assignments, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with customers, stakeholders, and operational teams at various organizational levels to review performance, discuss operational matters, and support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and service quality enhancements across the district.

  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field operations teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in operations, maintenance, network infrastructure, or field service management.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and subcontractors is preferred.
