Job Description
The client is looking for a Data Center Project Delivery Manager to work an 8 month rolling contract based in Liberia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Initiation Management: Lead the local initiation phase, including design finalization, resource preparation, and construction planning, aligned with headquarters and client requirements.
- Progress Control: Develop and monitor project schedules, coordinate contractors and suppliers, and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
- Quality and Safety Supervision: Oversee compliance with quality and safety standards, ensuring data center requirements are met.
- Resource Coordination: Manage local manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely availability and avoid delays.
- Client Communication: Act as the primary local interface with clients, headquarters, and subcontractors, providing timely updates and issue resolution.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks (weather, approvals, resource shortages) and implement mitigation strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure transparency and keep stakeholders informed.
- Experience and Standards: Possess proven IDC data center delivery experience and be familiar with industry codes and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
- French Speaking is an advantage.
Please note: Due to the urgent hiring the client is looking for consultants who are available immediately to travel to Liberia. The client can assist with visa/work permit.
