Job Description
The client is looking for a Customer Project Manager to work in the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
As a Customer Project Manager, you will lead complex customer programs and projects, ensuring successful delivery against contractual obligations while enhancing customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, aligning operational management with established methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency and quality.
Your role is pivotal in managing customer relationships, understanding their needs, and coordinating stakeholders to resolve challenges proactively. You will thrive in a dynamic environment that fosters innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Your contributions will directly influence project outcomes and support opportunities for business growth, including contract expansions and renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage customer projects related to new RAN site rollouts (2G/4G/5G), expansions, controllers deployment, and telecom/power implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely, high-quality delivery.
- Manage the delivery of products and services as defined in customer contracts, including deployment of new radio sites, expansions, and sector additions.
- Ensure all project and operational management activities comply with the organization’s operational framework, governance policies, and defined delivery methodologies.
- Develop and execute project plans, proactively managing changes affecting cost, scope, schedule, and quality (CSSQ).
- Act as the primary point of contact for the customer, building and maintaining strong relationships, handling complaints, corrective actions, and evolving requirements.
- Prepare and implement communication plans, ensuring effective flow of relevant information to customers and stakeholders.
- Monitor project financials, ensuring adherence to budget, profitability forecasts, and defined scope, with alignment to financial, product, and service forecast activities.
- Drive continuous improvements to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction targets are met.
- Support pre-sales and sales activities by providing input on delivery approaches, evaluating alternatives, and advising on the recommended solution.
- Ensure project contract management processes are initiated and executed effectively.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, while actively seeking opportunities to expand and renew customer contracts.
- Lead and guide project teams to achieve operational excellence, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Manage project closure activities, including completion of contractual requirements, acceptance milestones (PAC/FAC), post-evaluation, and lessons learned.
- Ensure proper transition of deliverables across phases (e.g., Sell to Execute, Delivery to Care) and track progress.
- Customize global processes when required to address project-specific needs such as deployment workflows, supply chain, logistics, and acceptance processes.
- Monitor, control, and report KPIs defined in the customer contract.
- Ensure project data in all tools and systems is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with digitalization and automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Telecommunications or related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in managing telecommunications projects/programs, particularly related to RAN rollout and expansions (2G/4G/5G).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong technical background in telecom rollout planning, deployment, and financial/milestone management.
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation and performance analytics.
- Strong skills in risk management, cost optimization, and change management.
- Experience in process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with delivery management platforms or project governance tools is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional or multi-vendor teams.
