CS Engineer

The client is looking for a French or Arabian speaking CS Engineer to work in Africa.

Desired profile & Job Knowledge:

• Engineering Graduate in Telecommunication. Relevant experience in Telecom network operation & maintenance, NOC operations experience is a must.
• Good understanding of CS core technologies used in Telecom network is a must.
• Higher level Skill/knowledge and operation experience NOKIA CS Core Network Elements.

Network Skill & Knowledge:

• Operation-maintenance, troubleshooting & configuration of NOKIA CS Core Network Nodes like MSC, HLR, STP, DRA, IMS, ESC, CSD.
• Media handling, transcoding, call modeling CS, SMS, MMS and need to have knowledge on the MGW’s.
• SPS- Diameter, SS7 message filter/screening based on the message categories in CAP, MAP Diameter protocols.
• Concepts of all the Call flow, Attach, Detach, Registration (2G, 3G & Volte) etc.
• Basic IP knowledge to work on layer 2 level.
• Interfaces in b/w network entities & it’s protocol.
• Architecture of the evolutions.
• DNS Queries.

Process & Quality:

• Knowledge and experience of MS Operations is a Must.
• Knowledge of various processes used in Network Operations will be added advantage.

Soft Skills:

• Microsoft Excel, report generation, trend and analysis is mandatory.
• Analytical skills like logical thinking, problem solving & handling assignments are mandatory.
• Fluency in English Language oral and written communication skills are a must.
