CS Core Engineer

Responsible for the daily software operations, maintenance, and support of core network nodes, including MSC, MGW, HLR, IPSTP, HSS, UDC, DSC/EIR, PG/UPG, backup servers, CCDM, CCRC, CCSM, SC, EDA2, NeLS, and other related network platforms.
Perform daily health checks, quarterly audits, and special-event audits to ensure the availability, stability, and reliability of core network systems.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and take corrective actions to maintain service quality and minimize service disruption.
Manage, implement, validate, and maintain configurations across core network nodes, ensuring consistency, reliability, and adherence to operational standards.
Monitor the performance and capacity of core network components and take proactive measures to maintain optimal service levels.
Perform regular software upgrades, updates, patch management, and related maintenance activities in accordance with approved procedures.
Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules while minimizing network downtime and service interruptions.
Collaborate with Network Engineering, Solutions, Customer Support, and other technical teams to optimize network performance, availability, and reliability.
Conduct end-to-end tracing across network protocols and interfaces, analyze signaling and traffic flows, and troubleshoot issues based on trace analysis.
Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, root causes, and resolutions for future reference, knowledge management, and compliance purposes.
Participate in network design and solution discussions, providing operational and technical insights based on practical network experience.
Ensure 5G Core network nodes comply with applicable security standards, customer security requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Perform configuration and security audits to verify compliance with internal security policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential risks, operational gaps, and opportunities to improve network reliability, performance, and service quality.
