Cloud Performance Engineer

The Performance – Cloud Analysis Engineer will be responsible for Mobile Core Network Cloud network analysis (on-demand/short-term/long-term), providing relevant support to technical and customer teams, and developing team reports, tools, and processes to achieve core performance delivery under a managed service environment.

Technical Experience:
Virtual environments: OpenStack (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone), KVM/QEMU, VMware, NFVi, cloud infrastructure platforms.
Containerized / Cloud-Native: Kubernetes, OpenShift (RHOCP), Docker, Helm, Operators, CNF.
Compute / Processing: COTS servers (Dell, HPE), host aggregates, availability zones, resource optimization, L1 accelerators, performance tuning, capacity planning.
Storage: Ceph (Rook-Ceph), Cinder, Manila, iSCSI, SAN/NAS, CSI drivers, OSD management, persistent volumes, snapshots, replication.
Networking / Spine-Leaf: Spine-leaf (CLOS) fabric, L2/L3, BGP, VXLAN overlays, VLANs, SDN controllers, CNI plugins, MetalLB, enterprise switches, SR-IOV, east-west and north-south traffic.
Cloud overview: Virtual and cloud-native hybrid environments (OpenStack + Kubernetes/OpenShift), bare-metal and virtual infrastructure, multi-cluster, high availability.
Automation & Lifecycle: Ansible, Terraform, Heat templates, Helm, Python/Bash scripting, Day-0/1/2 operations, upgrades, patching, expansion, and LCM.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Prometheus/Grafana, hardware health, RCA, observability, SLA/ITSM compliance.
Security & Operations: Network policies, image scanning, hardening, PKI, Syslog, production support, customer integration.
Data / Reporting support (where applicable): SQL, Python, Linux shell, MS Office for technical reports; KPI/performance analysis concepts for cloud platforms.
