Contract Manager

The client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join a major infrastructure project team.

Role Overview:

The client is looking for a Contract Manager with strong experience in infrastructure projects, including roads, buildings, and water/drainage networks. The role involves full contract administration and close collaboration with engineers and clients under FIDIC / GCC frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage contracts for civil works and building projects
• Draft and manage contractual correspondence, notices, and documentation in line with FIDIC/GCC
• Lead meetings with engineers and clients to resolve contractual issues
• Handle variations, claims, disputes, and compliance matters
• Ensure effective issue resolution and contract risk management

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of contract management experience in infrastructure projects
• Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and GCC contracts
• Proven experience in claims, variations, and contract negotiations
• Ability to work independently with project teams and clients
• Regional experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related discipline
• South African registration and relevant professional certifications are highly preferred
