The client is looking for a Cloud Business Development Manager (Banking) to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the Position:

The client is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Cloud Business Development Manager (Banking) to lead and grow their cloud business within the banking sector. This role is focused on building and managing high-value client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and delivering cloud solutions that meet the evolving needs of financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud technologies in the banking industry, successful sales experience and the ability to drive complex engagements with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive cloud business development in the banking sector, establishing and growing long-term relationships with key banking clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including finance and account departments) to design and execute business initiatives and strategic plans.
  • Forecast, track and report on business performance metrics; evaluate promotional programs and sales opportunities.
  • Leverage market insights and technical expertise to guide cloud product strategy and promote adoption within the banking ecosystem.
  • Understand client business models, pain points and goals; work with legal and commercial teams to structure agreements and partnerships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying solutions that align with their digital transformation goals.
  • Promote value proposition at industry events, client meetings and strategic discussions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in client management, sales, business development, or partner/channel management in cloud services or SaaS.
  • Demonstrated technology expertise in banking services with a proven track record of success in cloud solution sales for banking.
  • In-depth knowledge of the cloud banking industry in Saudi Arabia.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience at leading cloud companies (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud).
  • Strong strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills.
  • Senior-level stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, launching new solutions and managing end-to-end sales cycles using indirect sales models.
  • Established professional network within the cloud and banking industries.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture, platforms and competitive offerings.
  • Ability to balance strategic direction with tactical delivery, including P&L ownership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in data analytics is a plus.
  • Business acumen with the ability to clearly articulate complex challenges and influence executive decision-making.
  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Self-driven, resilient and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to support business engagements.
