About the Position:
The client is seeking a highly driven and strategic Cloud Business Development Manager (Retail & Logistic) to lead and grow their cloud service engagements within the retail and logistics sectors. This role will be pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with top-tier clients, identifying growth opportunities and executing go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, high-impact cloud solutions that drive client success and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Retail & Logistic sector within the cloud domain.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders, particularly in banking and retail sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and drive business initiatives, perform market analyses and develop actionable business recommendations.
- Forecast and track key business metrics, evaluate performance and support strategic planning and reporting.
- Identify and capitalize on cloud-based business opportunities, promotions and service expansion initiatives.
- Negotiate and manage contractual agreements in collaboration with legal and commercial teams.
- Deliver innovative cloud solutions tailored to client needs, enhancing their business performance and long-term value.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and promotional activities to foster growth and brand visibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, client management, sales, or channel development, preferably within cloud services or SaaS.
- In-depth knowledge of the retail and logistics industry, with existing industry relationships and understanding of its digital transformation needs.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with client business structures and experience managing end-to-end commercial engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with top cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud).
- Background as a reseller or partner in cloud services, especially within Saudi Arabia’s retail and e-commerce sector.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capability with a track record in sales and operations management.
- High executive maturity and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies, and experience winning and delivering enterprise-level business.
- Analytical mindset, with experience in data analytics and the ability to extract insights to inform decisions.
- Business acumen and understanding of competitive cloud offerings.
- Proficiency in navigating complex business landscapes and managing P&L responsibilities.
- Fluency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for client meetings and industry engagements.
- Strong customer orientation and a passion for driving cloud-based transformation.
