Job Description

The Business Analyst – Enterprise Wallet Platform (EWP) is responsible for translating business requirements into clear, structured functional and non-functional specifications for enterprise wallet and digital platform solutions.

 

The role serves as the key liaison between Business, Technology, Architecture, Delivery, and Operations teams, ensuring that platform enhancements, integrations, and new capabilities align with business objectives and are delivered through traceable, testable, and well-defined requirements.

 

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Information Security, this position supports disciplined demand management, solution design, and successful delivery of enterprise digital platform initiatives.

 

Key Performance Areas (KPAs)

Demand Management

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.

Define and document business processes, customer journeys, transaction flows, and operational use cases.

Conduct impact assessments to evaluate operational, technical, business, and customer implications of proposed changes.

Analyse existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement and automation.

Solution Definition

Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), User Stories, process flows, and functional specifications.

Define clear, measurable, and testable acceptance criteria aligned with business objectives.

Support solution design reviews to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical solutions.

Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and Delivery teams to validate technical feasibility.

Support functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production readiness activities.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.

Maintain end-to-end traceability of business requirements from initiation through development, testing, deployment, and implementation.

Support prioritisation and management of the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and business sponsors.

Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Governance

Maintain and manage the requirements backlog in accordance with established governance processes.

Participate in project governance meetings, steering committees, change advisory boards, and project reviews.

Support production readiness assessments and post-implementation reviews to validate business outcomes.

Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Promote compliance with organisational standards, quality assurance processes, and change management procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology-driven business transformation initiatives.

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with enterprise applications, digital platforms, enterprise payment systems, or customer-facing technology solutions.

Demonstrated experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery environments.

Proven experience producing high-quality BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, process models, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs).

Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production releases, and business readiness activities.

Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
