The client is looking for a number of Azure DWH Data Engineers to work a 6-month rolling contract to support a project in the Caribbean (Remote).

Leveraging proficiency in data analysis and a comprehensive grasp of end user and business requirements, DWH Engineers translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Data Engineers collaborate closely with customers and Business Intelligence (BI) Analysts to transform data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. Employing both business acumen and analytical skills, they delve into data, ensuring its accuracy, coherence, reliability, and accessibility.
  • The responsibilities of a Data Engineer encompass the entire lifecycle development, implementation, support, and optimization of Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Business Intelligence Reporting environments. They facilitate the integration of these systems with other applications, model complex business/consumer problems, uncover actionable insights, and identify opportunities through statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques. Additionally, they possess expertise in integrating and preparing extensive, diverse datasets, designing specialized database and computing environments, and effectively communicating results. The data insights they deliver empower business teams to enhance key metrics, elevate customer experience, and drive business outcomes.
  • In collaboration with clients, data stewards, project/program managers, and IT teams, Data Engineers transform data into invaluable information and knowledge for making strategic organizational decisions. Their duties extend to providing congruent and reliable data while also employing creative thinking and innovative data mining approaches to tackle complex problems. Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying findings to business stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.

Qualifications, knowledge & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of technical experience, with at least 5 years in a major system.
