Automated Operations Engineer

The client is looking for an Automated Operations Engineer To work in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The client is looking for a Core Team to handle the monitoring and troubleshooting of a large-scale CS, PS, and ITSC network. The team will be responsible for coordination, management, troubleshooting, reactive maintenance, and creating internal knowledge-sharing sessions for the entire core team.

What you will do:

• Ensure configuration changes and troubleshooting of MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC, UDM (CUDB, HSS[1]FE, HLR-FE), IMS (P, I, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM, DRA, UPG) according to approved processes.
• Ensure MSTOP processes are followed in the workplace.
• Participate in internal technical discussions to improve network monitoring and 1st-level troubleshooting, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain correct working methodology, best practices, and continuous improvement in ways of working for efficiency.
• Handle fault management including trouble ticket handling and fault localization within SLA.
• Support and coordinate with the team on change management and CR implementation.
• Ensure incident recovery within SLA.
• Lead the FO core team and ensure all KPIs are fulfilled.
• Improve 1st-level operations engineers’ performance during shifts, sharing knowledge and guidelines to ensure work quality and process consistency.

Requirements:

• BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering, major in Communication and Electronic Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in CS/PS troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of core protocols (SIP, H.248, SS7, ISUP, BICC, SIGTRAN, INAP, CAP, TCAP, MAP, SCCP, Diameter).
• In-depth understanding of call flow in CS Core, VoLTE/IMS.
• Clear understanding of 2G/3G/4G core network nodes, protocols, and signaling flow.
• Strong hands-on experience in O&M of different voice core CS nodes such as MSC, MGWs, STP, UDC, APG, etc.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience as a second-level operator on IMS nodes like SBG, MTAS, CSCF, Ipworks, EME, etc.
• Good knowledge of virtualization, cloud NFVI, and NFVO is highly preferred.
