Android Developer

The client is looking for a Android Developer to work Remote.

The candidate should have 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in the IT healthcare domain.

The candidate should have experience in:

• 3+ years of proven experience in Android App Development
• Must have delivered end-to-end on at least 3 Android projects
• Deep understanding of Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
• Extensive experience with at least one Android framework such as Native, Flutter, Ionic, etc.
• Expertise in mobile app to back-end integration
• Knowledge of Google design principles and application interface guidelines such as Material Design
• Proficient in code versioning tools, especially Git
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging
• Experience with continuous integration
• Experience with Google Map SDK
• Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, etc.
• Experience with Coroutines, LiveData, and Retrofit
• Experience in JSON data parsing using GSON
• Experience with local storage solutions such as Realm or SugarORM
• Experience with OAuth integrations such as Google, Facebook, etc.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application according to specifications
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks
• Fixing application bugs before the final release
• Publishing applications on the Play Store
• Maintaining code and modularization of the application
• Designing and implementing application updates

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Services, or other related fields
• Very good oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
