5G Optimization Engineer

The client is looking for a Russian Speaking 5G Optimization Engineer (Nokia Equipment) to work a 6 month rolling contract based in Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

Job Description:

• RAN optimization 2G/3G/4G/5G
• Interface directly with customers to address NPO technical queries and ensure satisfaction
• Work within a multi-vendor environment, leveraging cross-functional communication with Nokia Regional Optimization team and Customer to get Cluster acceptance. Verify network parameter settings post-swap and monitor KPIs to support customer in Swap process follow up
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation and reports detailing swap progress, challenges, and solutions

Skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field
• Strong working experience on Radio Access technologies (planning & optimization) and swap projects
• Independent level on Nokia 5G parameters, counters, and KPIs
• Ability to analyse Nokia internal syslog’s, eNB/gNB logs, EMIL, TTI Traces for quick troubleshooting & expedite/steer R&D analysis
• Comfortable working with tools like ATOLL, RNP9955, ACTIX, NEMO,  Wireshark, LTE PAT Exposure to logging tools such as QXDM, XCAL, or equivalent, and should be proficient with those tools
• Proficiency in drive test data analysis and network optimization tools
• Familiarity with OSS platforms
