5G NR Radio Network Optimization Engineer

The client is looking for a 5G NR Radio Network Optimization Engineer (Ericsson Equipment) to work a 12 month rolling contract based in Turkey (Bursa).

Job Description:

• Monitor 5G NR cell, site, cluster, and zone-level KPIs on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Analyze accessibility, retainability, mobility, integrity, and throughput KPIs.
• Identify underperforming cells and zones using performance management (PM) tools.
• Track KPI degradation trends and initiate corrective optimization actions.
• Perform daily RF tuning activities for pre-launch and post-launch 5G NR network.
• Optimize PCI planning and collision/confusion resolution, Antenna tilt (RET), missing neighbours etc.
• Conduct coverage, capacity, and quality optimization for NSA and SA deployments.
• Analyze drive test logs.
• Recommend RF parameter changes based on field findings.
• Investigate and resolve: Call drop / session drop issues, Low throughput and latency problems, Handover failures (intra-NR, NR-LTE, LTE-NR), Coverage holes and overshooting cells etc.

Please note: The client will allow work remotely from home country until you obtain the work permit to travel to Turkey.
