IT Security Administrator

Joseph McNulty is looking for an IT Security Administrator to work on a remote basis, starting ASAP. This is an extendable contract.

The primary responsibility is to ensure the security and integrity of an organization’s computer systems, networks, and data as per the Organization’s Security Policies. This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, patch management, responding to security incidents, and developing and enforcing security policies.

Responsibilities and duties:

• System administration & End user support for System Center Products (SCCM), CrowdStrike, Velocity raptor, Proofpoint, One login, Zscaler, MDM and other IT/ Security applications
• Configuration and maintenance of IT security for the Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange & O365 Environments in accordance with the wider IT Security policies
• Security Incident Response: Responding to security incidents (raised by group SOC team) promptly and effectively.
• Investigation of issue across different systems, co-ordination cross function teams to address the issue and implement measures to avoid any reoccurrence
• IT Security Improvement – Regular system & user audits, continuous improvement & enhancement of overall IT security posture
• Support in Vulnerability Management & Penetration testing and working on the resolutions of identified issues
• Good knowledge for Cyber Security & Cloud Computing
• Monitoring and regular reporting on IT security posture

Requirements:

• Degree/ diploma or professional qualification in relevant discipline with minimum 5 years of administration experience in IT Security.
• Must be a good team player with result oriented & positive attitude
• Ready to accept the challenge and flexible with working hours
• Very good written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Very good at articulating, analyzing and solving issues
