Job Description

Joseph McNulty is looking for Delivery Managers to work in the UK on a 3-month extendable contract. This role is based inside IR35. This is project-based work approach.

 

Skills and experience required:

  • Ability to lead on a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques to drive the service teams delivery. DEV Ops experience.
  • Line management responsibility.
  • UK based through a UK umbrella company.
  • ITL qualifications desirable.
  • Base line SC clearance would be an advantage.
  • Understand the different phases of product delivery and can contribute to, plan and run these for the service team
  • Take a consistent and ongoing approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and road mapping. maintain a product or process through the delivery phases
  • Ensure the service team has a situational awareness of work and priorities across the team and from the business
  • Support effective budget management within the constraints of the project. You know how to monitor projected budgets against expenditure.
  • ability to coach within and outside of your team.
  • Have knowledge and experience of the learning platforms (LMS systems) and understand the goals of those platforms.
  • Experience in taking a user centred, agile approach to delivery of services.
  • Recent experience in conducting a Delivery Manager role providing a digital solution
  • Public sector experience desirable although not essential
  • Ability to assess the benefits and risks of these options and make recommendations as to which are most appropriate to explore further
  • Ability to present research findings and insights to a non-technical audience, including senior managers
  • Experience in taking a user centred, agile approach to delivery of services.
  • Experience of working in line with the Government service standard
  • Ability to conduct both remote and in person qualitative and quantitative user research activities
  • Share work openly and communicate effectively with stakeholders, understanding the context, in meetings and show and tells.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
