Title: Computer Aided Dispatch Engineer
Location: Muscat, Oman
My client is a technology company that provides critical communications, software and video solutions that help build safer cities and thriving communities. They are seeking a highly skilled Computer Aided Dispatch Engineer who will be responsible for to providing post sale System and Field Engineering Support to various customers in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Perform implementation of Integrated Communications Control Systems and Computer Aided Dispatch communication system solutions and services which satisfy the requirements of the customer and end user
- Field Engineer role shall also fulfil the role of a Subject Matter Expert supporting projects and opportunities across the wider region
- Support and update System ‘as built’ documentation
- Provide support to the customer
- Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance to Emergency Contact Center Systems under support contract
- Build Customer relationships; presenting technical solution to Customer, conducting negotiations with Customers, partners and suppliers and providing Customer technical consultations, advices and review as well as technical documentation as per the Contract requirements
- Provides technical support and consultations for / with the System Integration Centers and clarification of technical issues with the Customer, third parties and within the company
Requirements:
- Relevant Qualification
- 3-years working with MS Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 domain & Active Directory, Remote Desktop
- Mandatory: 1-year of Virtualization experience with Hyper-V and VMware (VMWare VCP 5.0 or higher
- Mandatory: 3 years working experience with Microsoft SQL Server database
- 2-years working with computer Networks and firewalls, any vendor
- Knowledge of AD, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, IIS - Required
- Basic Voice over IP and CTI interface knowledge - Required
- Experience with Contact Center Telephony and ACD, IVR, CVP is a plus
- Experience with LMR systems specially TETRA - preferred
