My client who are a global cyber security oragnisation are rapidly growing and looking to add value to their existing team. They are looking for a Mathematician to research and develop methods and algorithms on the forefront of machine learning in both cyber security and in the wider field.

The cyber security domain presents particular challenges in achieving results in real-time from vast and continuous inputs of data, requiring innovation and excellence from both the mathematics and the software implementation.

The role will suit innovative, self-motivated people who can prioritize and follow how they fit into wider progress as well as skilfully solve their immediate challenges.

Desirable:

• Linux development environment
• Experience implementing mathematics in software, e.g. Python, C++

Education level:

• A 2:1 Honours degree in Mathematics from a high-ranked University, OR
• A PhD involving machine-learning or related mathematics from a high-ranked University
