Belt Technician (Service Technician)

(CANADA BASED) 

 Demonstrate proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment and materials

 Comply with all company policies and procedures including company and customer safety policies and procedures

 Maintain reasonable hours for work done in the shop and keeping non-chargeable hours to a minimum. Any additional hours have to be approved by Service Supervisor/Shop Foreman

 Report any faulty part or equipment on field/shop work report and to Service Supervisor/Shop Foreman immediately

 Check over paperwork for accuracy.

 Complete assigned tasks on given paperwork

 Complete conveyor maintenance

 Handle any arising customer issues on site and advise territory Outside Sales Staff or Shop/Foreman/Service Manager

 Represent Belterra in an appropriate and professional manner

 Fill out all job required paperwork accurately and return them to office in a timely manner

 Maintain housekeeping of work area (in shop or on site)

 Maintain cleanliness of vehicle

 Be available for emergency breakdowns on-call service 24/7 when required

 Other job duties as assigned by management

 Create a positive work environment for yourself and others

 Report any non-compliance issues to the Service Supervisor

Education:

 Grade 10
