Job Description

Web Developer required for a 12 months contract based in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The position will work on a 6 and 1 rotation.  6 weeks in country, 1 week outside.
Accommodation and transportation provided.

Our client is one of the leading telecommunication equipment providers worldwide.   They are looking to add members to their growing team in Kabul.

Under supervision of the Solution Development supervisor to perform the following responsibilities within the IT areas:
1. Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign along with the IT Managers
2. New Systems and New Solutions:
- High Level Design,
- Low Level Design,
- Inter-dependencies identification,
- consistency checks
3. Recurrent Issues
- Review of the architecture and proposition of changes
- analyze impacts
- Complete and co/implement a configuration workbook
4. Architecture and Systems capacity Management
- Complete and co/implement a configuration workbook
- Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.
- Oversee consistency
- prepare budgeting inputs
5. Products and Service Development
o Development and deployment webservices.
o Documentation using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN)
o Lead the UAT efforts.
o Webservice Orchestration
6. Proficient in Unix/Linux OS and bash scripting for automated system health checks and alarm escalation.
7. Structured and focused on delivering good quality on time.
8. Analyzes existing applications and systems and formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, logical
database design, performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
9. Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project
basis as defined in the IT Methodology, in collaboration with business analyst and other project team members.
10. Consult with business analyst and architects to understand, anticipate, and meet current and future business needs.
11. Modify and configure applications/systems as specified in the requirements and/or technical design document.
12. Provide on-call support for production systems and provide timely solutions.
13. Support technical design, development and unit test of OSB and JEE programs
14. Support stabilization of integration delivery projects. This includes OnCall support. Qualifications:
• Experience with Oracle Service Bus version 11g and 10g. OSB development experience.
• Experience in developing Web Services based on Java EE standards such as JAX RPC or JAX-WS
• Experience in developing Transformation logic using XQuery or XSLT
• Experience working with the OSB techniques including OSB Workshop
• Experience generating, importing/exporting jar (sbconfig.jar) files.
• Experience in OSB Deployment.
• Experience with Content based routing. Experience using EAI patterns.
• Strong understanding of XML and XML namespaces. Strong understanding of WSDL’s.
• Experience with the use of proxies with SOAP or REST transports.
• Experience with the use of proxies with WS Security.
• Experience with the use of business services using Service Accounts.
• Experience with asynchronous and synchronous pipelines.
• Experience using SOAP UI and unit testing of web services.

o Service Oriented Design & implementing RESTful APIs, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, JSON, Web services and
o Experience with Service Bus (Preferably Oracle Service Bus) and API Management tool is a plus.
o Experience with Oracle BPM and Governance products desired.\
o Fluency in best practices for SOA architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability
principles and techniques.
o Experience with Scrum/Agile Development Processes and ability to work in a high-paced agile global
Development environment.
