Transmission Engineer

Ross is looking for a Transmission Engineer to work on a 6-month rolling contract. The role is remotely based, but due to the times at which you will be required to support clients candidates must be based in Europe.

You should be able to manage Huawei MUX devices and implementation & manage existing dark fibres from Data centre to Data Center in various countries. You should also be able to install and configure new Fiber Cables on the MUX. This includes managing Alerts or Alarms related to packet drops from one Data Centre to another, and high latency or Fiber Cut on the transmission media.
